Crowned with Care at SALT Borough Last March, Crowned with Care landed in SALT Borough, a contemporary hair salon in the heart of Borough Market, for a day of beautiful hairstyles and real conversations. Crowned with Care is returning this spring, and we cannot wait. After an incredible 2025, we've spent time reflecting, learning, and planning — and we're stepping into 2026 with fresh energy, a clearer vision, and a heart full of excitement for what's ahead. Two Events. Sixty Children. All the Love. This spring, we're hosting two Crowned with Care events : 📍 London — 29 March 2026 📍 Leicester — 2 April 2026 Together, these events will reach 60 young people in foster care

We believe every young person deserves to feel seen, celebrated and cared for no matter where they grow up.

Our vision is to make culturally relevant hair care and identity education a normal part of youth well being across the UK.

We connect young people and corporate parents with local professionals in their communities.

By 2030, Crowned with Care® aims to:

Reach 10,000 young people through community and care-based events.

Train 500+ volunteers and stylists in inclusive hair and identity education.

Partner with local authorities, care homes, and school nationwide to make Afro-textured hair care part of every wellbeing conversation.

What we do

Hairstyling Events

Our Hairstyling Events are designed for young people to be able to express themselves through their self image.

Haircare Boxes

Our haircare boxes, courtesy of Replenish Culture to equip our young people with everything they need to maintain healthy hair.

Hair Education

We offer various forms of education to help both young peope and carers feel confident in caring for their hair.

Community Events

We do community events to build relationships between carers and our young people and their local community.
