We're Back — and Spring 2026 Is Going to Be Something Special

Crowned with Care is returning this spring, and we cannot wait.

After an incredible 2025, we've spent time reflecting, learning, and planning — and we're stepping into 2026 with fresh energy, a clearer vision, and a heart full of excitement for what's ahead.

Two Events. Sixty Children. All the Love.

This spring, we're hosting two Crowned with Care events:

• 📍 London — 29 March 2026

• 📍 Leicester — 2 April 2026

Together, these events will reach 60 young people in foster care, giving each child a free professional hair appointment, a hair care box filled with quality products, and a day that tells them — loudly and clearly — that they are seen, celebrated, and worthy of care.

Why We Scaled Back — and Why That's a Good Thing

Last year was big. Beautifully, wonderfully big. But it also taught us something important: the magic of Crowned with Care lives in the intimacy of the room. It lives in the moment a stylist kneels down to talk to a child about how they'd like their hair. It lives in the quiet conversation between a carer and a volunteer. It lives in the warmth that fills a space when everyone in it shares the same purpose.

This year, we've made a deliberate choice to keep our events smaller and more focused. Not because we want to do less — but because we want every single child who walks through the door to feel the full weight of that love.

We've also taken everything we learned from last year and used it to shape how we run these events — from how we organise our styling stations, to how we support our hairstylists, to how we structure the day for families. Every learning has been a gift, and we're putting it all to work.

It Doesn't Stop in Spring

Our events are just one part of the story.

📚 Book Giveaways We've already been running book giveaways this year, putting books into the hands of children in care — because representation on the shelf matters just as much as representation in the salon chair. We'll be continuing these throughout the year, and our spring events will each include a book element too.

More to Come There's so much more in the pipeline that we can't wait to share. New partnerships, new initiatives, new ways to show up for children in the care system. Watch this space — 2026 is shaping up to be our biggest year yet in the ways that matter most.
